For this week's task i wanted to produce some pattern work. I developed my pattern looking at a photograph of a cancer cell, i thought the idea of producing something nice to look at from something so evil, might be an interesting idea. As you can see i cut out my pattern in MDF and then took a couple of prints from them. Hope you like them!

Really like the second print. You should do some in colour and post them up too. You could paint the colour on the mdf and do a monoprint.
These are great! What a wonderful idea to produce something beautiful out of something terrible. The little bit down the bottom of the second print looks a bit like a heart :)
Oh and I'd love to see a colour version too - I've never done printing like this but I think it would be fun to play around with!
While colors would be interesting, and perhaps more visually satisfying. The black and white says something stark about cancer cells, something I think could get lost in the color.
Great prints - what a creative idea!
Excellent. I also like the starkness of the black and white, I think it sends a stronger message about this subject.
there's something incredibly creepy about those - if that was ther shadow coming through your window at night.. brr. there's loads of faces and stuff in them. i like them =)
